Muscle Spasm

Muscle spasms are very common in multiple muscles. Some of us have experienced a muscle spasm in our calves and feet, but are also felt in the hamstrings, quads, and back.

This condition can be caused by numerous factors such as vitamin deficiency, injury, and sometimes by other conditions such as DVT (deep vein thrombosis).

Though this is a common experience for many of us, a sustained spasm can be helped with Massage Therapy to decrease pain, increase circulation (unless your spasm is caused by DVT, which makes massage therapy contraindicated), and improve range of motion.
